MISTER HOWL

MISTER HOWL

“I never wanted to be anything more than a good man.” Simple, heartfelt words from the singer-songwriter, Jayce Geesey of Mister Howl.

On the 9th of May, I had the pleasure of drumming at Chain Reaction for my good friend and colleague, Jayce. It was the shortest notice I’d ever gotten to play, but we got our shit together in time. By short notice, I mean he put the band together a week before the show, allotting us to rehearse a whopping total of two times (one of which was right before the show). Although the odds were surely against us, we somehow pulled it off. I’m really proud of these guys for keeping their composure throughout the process.

Thanks to all the dudes in Mister Howl, Sylvia G Photography for capturing the moment, Jerrel Fajardo (Mister Howl’s manager) for landing the gig, and of course, everyone who supported us by coming out to the show!

Check out Mister Howl on Facebook and Soundcloud, and be sure to come out to one, if not all of his gigs this summer! I may or may not be kicking beats in the back. Who knows?
