BLACK SHEEP

BLACK SHEEP

Here it is, the second look from my collab with Urban Outfitters as an #UOonYou stylist.

This time I put an outfit together around one of their short-sleeved Tropicalia shirts. Although black isn’t an ideal color for a warm, sunny day, it works for just about any and every occasion. The pattern on the shirt is busy yet fun, giving it a cool, laid back vibe, but when styled properly, can be taken to the next level. I decided to do something in between casual and classy, making it appropriate for wear during the day and through the night.

In my previous post, I touched on not being afraid or discouraged to step outside of your comfort zone with clothes. The same could be said for just about everything else with your appearance. Take me for example. Besides the fact that I look 10 years younger than my actual age, I have piercings and a ton of tattoos. I stick out like a sore thumb, and judging from the stares I often get, I probably confuse a lot of people. However, none of that ever phases me, especially when it comes to how I dress. I can still pull off dapper with tattoos and piercings just as much as I could do the whole “bad boy” look. In fact, some would argue that tattoos and piercings make things more interesting. Who really knows? Who really cares? All I’m saying is that it’s okay to be a black sheep.

Do you, boo-boo. Do you.
