HUNTING SEASON

Hunt or be hunted.

By that, I mean hunting down your goals, not people or animals. Unless, of course, your goal is to hunt those things, which is totally your prerogative. I started my senior year at CSUDH with a couple goals in mind, but only one stands above all: get through these next two semesters and graduate in Spring 2015. I’ve already turned in my graduation application (and paid the ridiculous fee), so I guess I don’t really have a choice. That isn’t to say that I’m not enjoying the process though. In fact, I’m really into everything I’ve learned to this point, and continuously look forward to class. If that weren’t the case, then this would be an entirely different conversation. In that scenario, I would be the prey and school would be the predator, which is never a good idea. Sure, there’s a couple of courses that are fairly difficult and I could definitely live without, but they too, offer valuable lessons, and that’s what I always keep in mind. Besides, if it was easy, then everyone would be doing it.

Just remember: Be patient. Lock onto your target. Take a deep breath. Shoot to kill.
