RAIN OR SHINE

RAIN OR SHINE

The most important part of what we do is doing it to the best of our ability (even when we don’t want to do it). In other words, doing what we do at any and all costs, “rain or shine.” We can cheat the system or take the easy way out, but the end result is never as good, or satisfying for that matter. This year with school, blogging, music, and all of the other things I get my hands down and dirty with, I’ve really learned to appreciate the journey just as much as the destination, or “the struggle,” which believe me, is real. Mad real. There were countless times that I wanted to walk away from blogging and music altogether because I felt uninspired and what have you, but somehow, someway I always was able to find my footing and get back on track. Through it all, as previously mentioned, I’ve learned that you really can’t half-ass any of it. I’ll admit, I’ve been “lucky” to get this far. I certainly haven’t taken any of it for granted, and moving forward, I most definitely won’t.

I know my previous post warned you about these next few being a tad bit boring, and I apologize if it is, but I’ll do the best I can to prove myself wrong just like I always do.
