THREE-WAY STREET

THREE-WAY STREET

By now, it goes without saying that my entire blog is a “how to” for menswear styles. As a result, I typically don’t write about the clothes or styles I’m wearing. However, I decided to make this particular post about the different ways to wear flannel because, well, it’s a common item found in our wardrobes and it’s easy. Flannel, in my opinion, is one of the most versatile pieces you can own. It can be used as a layer or worn alone, and best of all, it looks and feels good! Bottom line is everyone should own a flannel shirt. If you’re one of those people who don’t, get with it already!

So, without further ado, here are three ways to wear it…

“AS IS” | By itself, buttoned all the way up. Doesn’t get any easier than this. Next…

OUTFIT | “Alex” Sunglasses c/o Capital. Shirt by Uniqlo. T-Shirt by Krew. “Mixed Tiger Tooth” Necklace by Ranson + Bond c/o Urban Outfitters. Anti-Bully Collection Bracelet c/o Compassion Brands. Jeans by Levi’s. “Trooper” Socks c/o Richer Poorer. Shoes by Vans.

UP AND OPEN | Sleeves rolled up and shirt unbuttoned to keep you looking and feeling fresh when it gets a little warm. Don’t forget to wear a t-shirt underneath, unless you want to be that guy. Acessories can also take this to the next level.

WAISTED | Remember when this was cool in the 90s? Well, it came back with a vengeance. Probably the easiest, “most fashionable” way to utilize an extra layer without having to actually wear it. I get hot pretty easily, so I often resort to this.

Now, with all of that in mind, how do you wear flannel? Leave a comment below!
