I teamed up with Aboagye to show you how I style their red and blue repp/polka dot tie  in preparation for back to school. Although reversible ties tend to be a hit or miss for me, these guys got it on lock. Of all the different color ways they offer, I chose this one because the red really popped out. I mean, you couldn’t miss it from a mile away. The fabric, patterns, and cut on this tie make it an instant classic, and best of all, it’s extremely versatile. Not to mention, two is better than one. To showcase it’s versatility, I put together two different outfits that are centered around three main pieces (shirt, tie, and pants). After all, you don’t need a huge wardrobe to keep things fresh.

Although both sides of the tie are classic in their own respects, the repp side called for a suit and tie kind of vibe. The boldness of the red really stands out amongst the traditional feel of this outfit, but doesn’t overpower it by any means. The striped pattern also helps offset the neutral tones. To keep things interesting (and rep my school, of course), I sported my university’s snapback. Go Toros!

Let’s just get one thing out of the way, casual doesn’t mean you can’t wear a tie! Here’s your proof. I kept the exact same shirt and pants on, but threw on a cardigan and some sneakers to pair with the flip side of the tie. While the main pieces stay the same, you without a doubt have a different outfit. The polka dots are more fun in my opinion, and what better way to keep that alive than by keeping it casually comfortable. Again, I utilized the red to give the basic colors of this outfit some life, which makes a statement without being too loud. There you have it, two looks with one tie!
