TOUGH LOVE

Whether you celebrate it or not, you can’t deny the “significance” of Valentine’s Day. Although I’m not romantic (nor do I care to be),  I like to use this Hallmark created holiday as a reminder that romance is, in fact, an important and necessary part of my relationship (even if it’s just one day a year). In my defense though, I’m a firm believer of intimate conversations. That whole saying, “we don’t have to say a word to enjoy each other’s company” is beyond me. Seriously, I wish those people nothing but the best of luck because I can’t even imagine how long I would last. After all, I love talking, and I’d even go as far as saying that it’s one of my favorite things to do. Speaking of which, check out this interview I did with 365 Hangers about everything guys want for Valentine’s Day here!

All of that aside, Sly (girlfriend/BFF/photographer/manager/personal chef/etc) and I had the opportunity to collab with Space 46 Boutique for a Valentine’s Day shoot including “The Wendy” tulle skirt. Neither Sly or I are very PDA, so it’s always interesting to see how our dynamic translates in photographs. Needless to say, I think Azusa got some pretty good shots during our sess. What do y’all think?

Check out some behind the scenes photos as well as Space 46 Boutique’s blog post of the shoot here!
Oh, and stay tuned for an upcoming “Single Awareness Day” post (for some of you forever aloners) as I go head to head with My of Style on Friday later this week.
