SAxGQ, PART I

OFF THE WALL, PART I

I’ve teamed up with GQ to show you how I style two pairs of the “most advanced” dress shoes by Stacy Adams. As y’all may or may not know, Stacy Adams has been in the shoe game for a minute, and by that, I mean over 100 years (1875 to be exact). The fact that they’ve been around for that long is really a testament to their timelessness. As a longtime fan, I can honestly say that Stacy Adams is one of those brands that’s hear to stay. I mean, I still wear the very first pair I had way back in high school (2004 to be exact).

There’s no secret to the rising popularity of monk strap shoes, and the “Trevor” by Stacy Adams really hits this double monk out of the park. Points of emphasis include the buffalo leather uppers, memory foam insoles, brogue cap toe, and of course, the overall slim/sleek slip-on design. What I like most about this particular shoe is how comfortable they are right off the bat. Most shoes require some time for breaking in, but these came out swinging. Real talk, I walked all around New York the first day I wore them, and totally forgot that they were new shoes.

If that alone isn’t enough to sell you on these kicks, then go try on a pair for yourself. Thank me later.
