LET YOURSELF GO

LET YOURSELF GO

One of the main reasons why I do this whole blogging thing is that it gives me a platform to create. Although I’m a musician through and through, fashion is another art that I not only hold with regard, but also see as a means of expressing who I am. Because of that, I think versatility is one of the most important aspects in creating these outfit posts. Yes, I can wear suits all day, everyday. Sure, I can rock streetwear 24/7. Of course I can keep it casual year-round. But if I stuck to one style, I would be doing myself a disservice. It would no longer be about creativity. It would no longer be about art. It would no longer be about me. At the end of the day, we all gotta live with what we’ve been, what we are, and what we want to be. I want to be versatile because I need to be creative.

What about you?

I loved what you said about versatility giving you an opportunity for creativity. I had always thought of putting full dedication in the one style you find great passion in, but what you said is thought-provoking and inspiring! PS, I found you from Samantha Mariko. :)

I agree with the comment above, the fact that you mention versatility in your style as being a creative factor is something that many people overlook and I sometimes have to remind myself it’s okay to not stick to one style for that reason :]
