CLASS OF 2015

CLASS OF 2015

If you can’t already tell, I’m “Hella Pinoy” when it comes to timing (if you don’t know what that means, click here).

That aside, I graduated cum laude (I have disgraced my famiry, I aporogize) from CSUDH this past May (B.A. in Behavioral Science, minor in Psychology). As stoked as I am to be done with my undergraduate degree, some sick, twisted feeling inside of me wants to go back to school for more. So much so that I’ve already started looking into master’s programs, but I’ll save that for a later post. Not sure when and where I’ll be going, but it’ll happen sooner rather later, and I mean within the next year or so.

For now, I want to focus your attention not on me, but the class of 2015. I think it’s worth mentioning that it’s also the “Class of 3 million” across the California State Universities. Add that with all the other college and university graduates, and we have a rather ridiculous amount of people completing their higher education. Yes, I know, college isn’t everything and isn’t for everyone. People can succeed and have succeeded without attending a day of it (high school even for some), but you can never discredit the value of education. There are countless lines I could throw at you about it, but I’m going to assume that you’ve already heard or are aware of majority of them. If not, educate yourselves! See what I did there? In all seriousness though, this year’s students did work, so without further ado…

Congrats to the class of 2015!

Oh, and shout out to my family, friends, professors, peers, lovers, haters, Sly, and Erik, for keeping me in check through these past two years. Without y’all, I sure as hell would not have graduated, let alone went back to school.
