I teamed up with The Black Tux to show you how to sport one of their tuxedos. Although they offer four different styles of tuxes, I decided to go with this one because, well, it’s just so fresh and so clean. Seriously though, if you’re looking to make a statement, this is the one to go with. In all honesty, this is the first tux I’ve ever owned. Actually, I’m not even sure if I’ve ever worn one (damn, I guess you learn something new everyday).

All that aside, I decided to take a page out of the NBA Draft‘s book with this outfit by combining formal wear with basketball. I gotta say, I’m pretty stoked with how these turned out. I did an NBA Draft inspired look before (see here), but I went “all out” with this one. This tux is just so dope that I didn’t want anything around me to take away from it. Anyone who’s been following me for a while also knows how much “I love this game.” If you’re a n00b though, all you need to know is that I’ve been playing basketball for a long time. I’m no where near the level I was once at, but you better believe that I can still hoop. That said, I’m organizing a game with the gents in LA menswear within the next couple of months, and I guarantee it’s something you won’t want to miss.

Till then, watch this and rent a shawl cardigan tuxedo for yourself here.
