PROHIBITION, PART I

PROHIBITION, PART I

If she doesn’t know what Prohibition is, she’s probably too young for you.

All jokes aside, Prohibition was a dark time to be alive. I’m not an alcoholic, nor do I need alcohol by any means, but I also couldn’t imagine a world without it. I mean, whatever way you want to spin it, it’s been and will continue to be there for the good times and bad. I guess I can only really speak for myself, but I’m willing to bet that you or someone know you know feels the exact same way. You don’t even have to like alcohol to know that’s true. For the record, I’ve been to a “dry” country, and let me tell you, it was strange, for lack of a better word. I don’t know how or why they choose to be that way, and maybe this sounds like a first world problem, but it wasn’t as fun. Then again, countries whose laws are more lenient than ours are probably thinking the exact same thing about us.

Welp.
