FOREVER FASTER, PART I

I can’t remember the last time I did a post with activewear, nor can I remember the last time I sported Puma. Okay, I lied, it’s just been a minute for both. Although I don’t usually blog about health and fitness, or activewear for that matter, that doesn’t mean I don’t dabble with them. In fact, until recently, I used to workout pretty much everyday (twice a day when I’m motivated enough). My schedule’s been brutal with all of the things I currently have going on (excuses, excuses, I know), but thanks to this collab, I have an excuse to talk the talk, and walk the walk (I mean, run).

My regular workout routine consists of cardio five times a week and calisthenics/lifting two times a week. I stick to basketball for cardio just because I’ve played for most of my life, and in all honesty, it really doesn’t “feel” like a workout (which reminds me, I need to get back on the damn court). If I don’t have time to hoop, I resort to running. For calisthenics/lifting, I prefer circuit training/full body workouts because I get it over quickly and that feeling of dying after 10-20 solid minutes is strangely satisfying. Oh, and once upon a time, I used to climb at Hangar 18 South Bay. That counts as lifting, right?

I guess the point of this all is that no matter what it is you do to stay active, get your @$$ out there. Your mind and body will thank you later.
