OASIS POOL PARTY
Yeah, I probably should’ve split this into two posts, but we all know this makes things easier for both of us. I had the pleasure of checking out the Viviane at the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills with my good friends – Lisa, Ken, and Pau. The hotel/restaurant kickstarted their Summer Sundays with their first annual Oasis Pool Party, which as you can see, was a Sunday brunch full of good food and drinks, and even greater vibes (DJ was spinning nothing but bangers, no joke). I might be a little biased because I’m a typical Southern Californian who loves brunch, but Executive Chef Michael Hung absolutely killed it with this menu. My favorite dish, hands down, was the “Crispy Fried Pork Belly and Eggs” (I’m Filipino, cut me some slack) with the “King Crab and Asparagus” at a close second. Actually, everything we ordered was pretty damn good, so you really can’t go wrong with any of it. I know we sure as hell didn’t.
