ALTIMETER

In partnership with Timberland.

My good friend Virginia (also known as V. Ma) and I got a chance to give Timb’s latest a run for their money, pun intended. All jokes aside, we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the Altimeter shoes were (his and hers). Inspired by hiker details with the features of modern performance, these kicks have you covered for anywhere you go and anything you do. I can’t say for sure, but it might have something to do with the SensorFlex comfort system they built in. Okay, okay. It has everything to do with that.

Constant support. Active cushioning. Dynamic flex. How’s that for a description?

To be honest, I don’t usually wear shoes like this (unless we’re counting basketball shoes, but those aren’t even in the same conversation, so we’ll save that for another time). I guess my brain’s decided that they look either too bulky and/or too heavy for everyday wear. However, with the weight of sneakers, the durability of boots, and the style of both, these are a good compromise between the two. The best of both worlds, as some would say.

Time-out! Let me take a second to talk about this Mount Kibby jacket, which currently isn’t available online. Sorry not sorry. One word, CAMOUFLAGE. I know, I know. If you’re a long time follower of my blog or Instagram for that matter, you’re probably sick of seeing it (or not seeing it). Get it? Because camo. Like the shoes, this jacket is lightweight, durable, and stylish.

Time-in! After we shot these photos, V. Ma and I ran around Little Tokyo, downtown LA, and they seriously felt like they’d been broken-in right out of the box.

Mind you, my entire body was sore from a workout a couple days before, so they were especially clutch later in the game.
